Hearts of Oak board member Vincent Odotei tight-lipped on Samuel Boadu’s future

Published on: 27 June 2022

Hearts of Oak board member Vincent Odotei Sowah has botched to disclosed whether or not Samuel Boadu will remain their coach ahead of next season.

The Phobians will be representing Ghana in the 2022/23 CAF Confederations Cup after beating Bechem united to clinch the MTN FA Cup title.

The rainbow boys successfully defended the title after coming from behind to beat Bechem United 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Despite winning the FA Cup, Hearts of Oak were unable to finish among the top four teams in the just ended Ghana Premier League campaign.

This has created a lot of doubt about the future of Samuel Boadu.

After guiding the club to win the FA Cup, Odotei Sowah was indecisive on the future of the former Medeama SC coach.

“We don't decide the future of our coaches based on one match”

“As I speak to you today, Samuel Boadu is our coach for now, let's leave him to celebrate this victory and the hard work”

“He has gone through a lot with the last few matches, today he did a master stroke, scoring two beautiful goals, let's leave him to celebrate”

“We will go back to the drawing board but at the moment he's our coach”
