Under-pressure Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant is unperturbed about facing a sack after his outfit lost 1-0 at home to Berekum Chelsea in their 2019/20 Ghana Premier League opener.

The 47-year-old has come under a lot of criticisms after the Phobians made a poor start to the new season at the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday.

A lone goal Berekum Chelsea’s Jonah Attuquaye condemn Hearts to their first defeat of the season with many fans calling for Grant's dismissal after the game.

However, the former Ghana international claims he is working hard and hopes to amends in their next league outing.

"I’m going to take each game as it comes, if the Board decides to take any decision that is up to them but is here to work and be successful at this football club," he said in a post-match interview.

"I’m working very hard and the boys are also working hard, nobody wants to lose a football match but unfortunately we lose today but I believed we played very well with 70% of the possession and more chances than they had but we have to move on."

Hearts of Oak will travel to Tarkwa to face Medeama in their second league game of the season.
