Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu wants to emulate Jones Attuquayefio’s legacy at club

Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu says he wants to emulate the success chalked by late Cecil Jones Attuquayefio during his time with the club.

Coach Attuquayefio won both the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup title as well as other domestic titles.

Samuel Boadu, who joined the rainbow boys two seasons ago has been impressive, winning five trophies since his appointment.

He equaled Attuquayefio’s record of winning back-to-back FA Cup titles on Sunday after beating Bechem United 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Speaking in an interview, Coach Samuel Boadu intimated that he wants to emulate the work done by Jones Attuquayefio at Hearts of Oak

"I want to be like the late Cecil Jones Attuquayefio. May his soul rest in peace. I am gradually learning from some of the things he did and I know very soon I will get there,", he told Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM.

Coach Samuel Boadu since joining Hearts of Oak has won the Ghana Premier League title, two FA Cup titles, the President Cup and the Super Cup.
