Hearts of Oak defender Kelvin Osei Asibey has called on the club's fans to remain supportive despite the team's slow start to the Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Phobians has been in dismal form after 13 matches into the domestic top-flight campaign. With 16 points, the Ghanaian giants find themselves on the 8th position.

The former Ghana Premier League winners have managed three wins, three defeat and seven draws in 13 games so far this season.

“I will plead with the fans to keep supporting us because all hope is not lost. They shouldn’t disown us because we cannot do without them. The fans are the head of the team so if they disown us that will be our end. They should exercise some patience and also pray behind the team and I believe things will change for us” he said.

The Phobians will host sworn rivals Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League week clash at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak have relocated to Kumasi following the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium by the National Sports Authority.
