Hearts of Oak defender Michael Ampadu ha called on the fans to keep rallying behind the team despite sloppy start to the Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Phobians drew blank against the CAF Confederation Cup campaigners at the Accra Sports Stadium as pressure mount on the former league winners.

The Ghanaian powerhouse are just above the drop zone after amassing just four points from four games.

Hearts have won once, drawn once and lost twice amid a torrid start to the 2023-23 Ghana Premier League campaign.

“It was a tough. Our mentality was to win, we created a lot of chances but we couldn’t utilize them. We will now concentrate on our next game. I will plead with the fans to continue supporting us and we promise to deliver, we just started the season” he said.

Hearts of Oak are away to Heart of Lions in the week 5 of the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
