Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Outtara was absent from the post-match press conference on Sunday after the team lost to Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians hosted the newcomers in their first match of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season today.
In a game played at the Accra Sports Stadium, Hearts of Oak conceded just two minutes into the first half and lost 1-0 at fulltime.
With fans outraged at full-time, the post-match interview had to be interrupted and ended abruptly by the Police due to tension.
Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara who had sent his assistant Yaw Amankwah to speak to the media at the post-match was chased out whilst in his car by the angry fans.
The outraged fans of Hearts of Oak complained about what they described as a poor performance from the team and hooted at the players.
The fans are demanding the immediate sacking of Coach Aboubakar Ouattara after just one game into the new season.
