Hearts of Oak Sporting Club's assistant coach, Abdul Rahim Bashiru, is rallying the club's supporters to stand behind the team ahead of their crucial clash against Berekum Chelsea at the Berekum Golden City Park.

Scheduled for Saturday, May 4, this match in Match Week 29 of the Ghana Premier League 2023-2024 season is pivotal for Hearts, who are hungry for a victory.

The Phobians have struggled in recent games, managing just one win in their last six outings. Their latest setback was a narrow 1-0 defeat to Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Addressing the media post-match, Bashiru expressed confidence in midfielder Glid Otanga's availability despite his recent injury and urged Hearts fans to maintain faith in the team's ability to triumph in Berekum.

“We are not happy…but they should still have that confidence in us. They should back us; we can even go to Chelsea and give them that three points.”

Hearts rank 12th in the league standings while Berekum Chelsea rank sixth; the latter suffered a 3-2 loss to Legon Cities at Dawu.
