The Academy graduate had been sidelined for weeks and missed the team’s clash against bitterest rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko last weekend.

After observation and treatment from the medical team of the Phobians, they have today announced that Michelle Sarpong is fit to train again.

“Michelle Sarpong has been given the all-clear to resume training following his recent injury setback.

“The Attacker has recovered from his leg sprain injury and, will resume training on Tuesday with the rest of the first-team squad”, a post on Hearts of Oak’s Twitter page said.

Sarpong is now expected to train with his teammates for the next couple of days and is in contention for the team’s trip to Dawu to face Dreams FC on Sunday.
