Hearts of Oak has a good team and good staff this season – Glid Otanga

Congolese midfielder Glid Otanga believes Hearts of Oak have got a good and technical staff heading into the Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Phobians are set to face Real Tamale United in their opening match scheduled for Friday, September 15, 2023 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

Having endured a torrid campaign last term, the Ghanaian giants are making effort to make impact in the 2023/24 season.

The former Champions League winners wrapped up their preseason with a deserving 2-0 win over Ghana Premier League newbies, Nations FC on Sunday at the Kpobiman Complex.

Otanga started the game before he was replaced in the second half by Nurudeen Aziz, who eventually broke the deadlock for the Phobians.

After the game, Otanga asserted his side have got a good team to compete in the forthcoming season.

“Is not about a player who wants to play, it’s all about team work. The team isn’t about one player. I might play and I won’t score but another player will come and score”

“It’s a collective work. I can go and another player will join the club. We have a good team and good staff this season and we work hard, so I think we will go far this season”

The Phobians are seeking another Ghana Premier League title triumph in the new season after going drought in the previous campaign.
