Hearts of Oak legend Mohammed Polo has opened up on the club’s slow start to the Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Phobians has been in a dismal form after four games into the Ghana Premier League campaign, losing two, drawing one and winning one in the process.

Hearts of Oak had a successful pre-season campaign under Dutch trainer Martin Koopman, during which the team secured significant victories and scored over 30 goals.

However, this pre-season success has failed to translate into the league, with Hearts of Oak managing only one win in four games.

In an interview with Happy FM, Polo expressed shock about the performance of the team in the Ghanaian top-flight.

“I’m surprised with the performance of Hearts of Oak in the ongoing season. The team had a good preseason, so we thought the coach had fixed all problems but the team is struggling where it matters most”

“It look as if the technical team of the club have not done enough. The players available at the club are not bad as compared to other clubs, they are all co-equal so it’s up to the coach to add some value to the players but it is unfortunate he is not having his rhythm. Truth be told, it’s not going well” he said.
