Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Aziz Nurudeen reveals what Fabio Gama told him after penalty incident in Super clash

Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Aziz Nurudeen has revealed what Asante Kotoko player Fabio Gama told him after penalty incident in the Super Clash at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Referee Kennedy Paddy awarded a penalty for Kotoko in the 17th minute after Fabio Gama was adjudged to have been fouled by Hearts of Oak midfielder Nurudeen Abdul Aziz.

The decision generated a lot of argument in the country as many believes the referee had his decision wrong.

Speaking on Angel TV, the enterprising midfielder revealed what the Brazilian player told him after the game.

“After the game, Gama told me he has not seen a defensive midfielder who is skillful like me. He also said I am a stubborn midfielder so he used tricks to win the penalty” he said.

Hearts of Oak were unable to finish in the top four at the end of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

Meanwhile, Kotoko emerged as winners of the 2021/22 domestic top-flight season.
