Hearts of Oak youngster Enock Asubonteng is expected to join Major League Soccer side FC Cincinnati on loan.

The former WAFA player will sign for the club until the end of the 2023 campaign with an option for a permanent deal if he manages to impress.

Asubonteng will join Cincinnati as part of the relationship between the club, German side TSG Hoffenheim, and Hearts as a part of the Common Value Club Alliance.

He will become the second Hearts of Oak player to join the club after Salim Adams, who joined the club last year.

Since joining Hearts of Oak, he has featured 31 times, providing one assist but is yet to find the back of the net in the past two seasons.

Asubonteng has played 9 matches in all competitions in the current campaign where he provided one assist.
