Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim emerges as a transfer target for Libyan side Al Ta'awon

Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim is reportedly on the radar of Libyan outfit Al Ta'awon.

The former Eleven Wonders star has been in fine form in the Ghana Premier League this season, clinching four man of the match awards.

The Libyan club intends to bolster their squad and has identified the Phobian as a perfect player to solidify the team.

Salifu Ibrahim currently has three months left on his contract at Hearts of Oak and could depart the club if an agreement for extension is not reached.

Al Ta’awon are ready to offer the skillful midfielder 7,000 dollars’ monthly salary and a signing-on fee reported to be around 60,000 dollars.

Salifu Ibrahim is playing a huge role under new coach Aboubakar Ouattara. He has been instrumental for the club in their first two games of the second half of the league season.

He scooped the man of the match award following his sterling performance against Nsoatreman FC last Sunday.

The 23-year-old joined Hearts of Oak in February 2021 and played a huge role in the clubs Ghana Premier League triumph that season.

This season, he has scored just a goal and managed eight assists in 19 appearances for the club.
