Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim has been passed fit to face Skyy FC in the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

Ibrahim has been sidelined with an ankle injury for months and after resuming first team training last week, the 21-year-old is ready to feature for Samuel Boadu's side.

The highly-rated youngster last started a game for the defending Ghana Premier League champions in January. He also came on as a second-half substitute in Hearts of Oak's game against Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League match week 22 encounter.

Hearts of Oak will take on Dreams FC in the semi-final of the MTN FA Cup if they defeat Skyy FC at the Accra Sports stadium.

The Pbobians are the defending champions of the MTN FA Cup, having won it last season by beating Ashanti Gold in the final on penalties.

Hearts will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after losing 1-0 to arch-rivals and league leaders Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara stadium last Sunday.
