Published on: 23 February 2022

Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim has resumed full training ahead of the second round of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

Ibrahim was sidelined for over three weeks due to injury he sustained in the Phobians' match against Karela United at the CAM Park.

Hearts suffered a narrow away defeat to the Pride of the West in matchday 14 of the Ghana Premier League.

The midfielder trained with his teammates earlier this week and is available for selection against Legon Cities on Sunday at the Accra Sports stadium.

The 21-year-old was named the Best Player last season after helping Hearts of Oak win the Ghana Premier League as well as the MTN FA Cup.

Defending Ghana Premier League champions, Hearts of Oak finished the first of the 2021/22 season 7th on the league table after a goalless draw with Asante Kotoko last Sunday.

The Phobians have had a top-turvy season so far, picking up six wins from 17 games played.
