Hearts of Oak NCC cautions match officials who will cheat the club

Hearts of Oak's National Chapters Committee (NCC), spearheaded by Elvis Hesse, has issued a stern caution directed at match officials, vowing to confront any hint of bias or cheating against the club.

This caution comes in the wake of Hearts of Oak's contentious 3-2 defeat to arch-rivals Asante Kotoko during their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League clash in the 14th match week this Sunday.

Elvis Hesse, the NCC leader, singled out the failure of match officials to flag Asante Kotoko's second goal as offside, emphasizing that this decision significantly altered the course of the game.

With Hearts occupying the ninth position on the league table with 16 points from 14 games, the NCC's warning signals a resolute stance against perceived bias that could impact the team's performance in the ongoing season.

"From today onward any referee or any match official who decides to cheat our club will face the NCC we are very quiet because we do not want to disrupt Ghana football," he said

"We have been very quiet because we are a civilized club we have been quiet because we are not noise makers. But that does not mean we can not take action against the referees," he added.
