Hearts of Oak players train in groups while at home

Ghana Premier League side, Hearts of Oak have confirmed that its players has been divided into groups to ensure training continues amid the suspension of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

Head coach Edward Nii Odoom wants his squad to stay fit while self isolating at home. Odoom has given the players individual training drills and has also grouped the squad to help them stay fit till the league resumes.

Kwame Opare Addo, the Communications Director of the club confirmed this in an interview with Otec FM.

“The coach has given the players individual special training and also to make sure that they will continue to keep the shape because no one knows the league will resume.”

“We don’t want our players to lose form when they come back from the break.”

Hearts are currently 9th on the Ghana league table.
