Hearts of Oak secure dominate 4-0 win over Dolphins FC in pre-season friendly

Ghana Premier League club, Hearts of Oak, secured a dominant 4-0 victory against lower-tier team Dolphins FC in a pre-season friendly held at Pobiman Football Academy on Wednesday afternoon.

Seidu Suraj propelled the Phobians into the lead at the 12-minute mark, following up with another goal on the 20th minute.

Cameroonian import Elbert Eonde extended Hearts of Oak's lead, making it 3-0 with a goal just one minute before the close of the first half.

Maintaining their 3-0 advantage, the Phobians entered halftime with a solid hold on the match.

Upon resumption for the second half, the 2000 CAF Champions League winners continued to dominate, adding a fourth goal. Albert Eonde, who had already scored earlier, netted his second of the afternoon in the 50th minute.

A chance to further increase the lead presented itself to former Real Tamale United loanee Issah Kukah, who had an opportunity to score from the penalty spot. However, his attempt went awry in the 79th minute, leaving the scoreline at 4-0.

No additional goals were recorded, securing a convincing win for Hearts of Oak. This victory marks their third consecutive success in pre-season friendlies.

Previously, Hearts of Oak emerged victorious against Miracle Land FC with an 11-1 scoreline, triumphed over Lazio Spot with a 4-1 result, and bested Attram De Visser 6-1 – all matches were played at the Pobiman Football Academy.
