The Phobains are reportedly on the verge of securing the services of the 28-year-old despite the interest from several clubs in the Ghana Premier League.

Mintah is currently holding talks with the Accra-based side over a possible switch ahead of the start of the new season.

The experienced midfielder has been clubless since his contract with Karela United expired last month and has set sights on joining Hearts in the coming days.

He had a short stint with Egyptian side Alassiouty Sport earlier in 2018 before returning to Ghana in June.

He has previously played for BA United and Dunkwa United.

He made 13 appearances for Karela United during the GFA Normalisation Committee Special Competition as they lost in the final to Asante Kotoko.
