Hearts of Oak will face off against Heart of Lions in the 2024 Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup.
This annual match serves as a commemorative friendly during the Homowo festival celebrations.
The 2024 edition will feature both teams that competed in the Ghana Premier League during the 2023/24 season.
The game is set for Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Last year's planned match between Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics was cancelled, but organizers are committed to ensuring the success of this year's event.
A press launch for the match will take place on Tuesday, July 23, at the Gbese Mantse's palace, Ussher Fort, in Accra.
Recently, Hearts of Oak were defeated 2-1 by Asante Kotoko in the inaugural Democracy Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
