Communications Director for Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has disclosed that the club is keen on taking its rightful place as an African giant.

The club in the past ruled the continent after winning the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup.

Unfortunately, the club has struggled to even rule the local league in Ghana.

Speaking to Original FM on the Super Sports Show, Opare Addo has indicated that the plan is for Hearts of Oak to get back to where it belongs amongst the best in Africa and the world.

According to him, the club’s goal is to soon represent Africa at the FIFA Club World Cup.

“Accra Hearts of oak can bounce back to represent Ghana and Africa at the FIFA club world cup once again

“We should pray and support Togbe Afede for successful Hearts of oak,” Opare Addo said.

For this to come alive, Hearts of Oak must do a lot of things right. Over the last few years, the way and manner that club has been run have been questioned although the club appears to be doing something right when it comes to infrastructure development.
