Former Black Stars striker, Asamoah Gyan beleives Hearts of Oak will come good next season despite their uninspiring performance.

The Phobians have been poor in the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League campaign.

After just a game to end the season, the Rainbow Club now sit 11th on the pile with 45 points.

The defeat at the Accra Sports Stadium means Hearts of Oak have suffered five defeats in their last six games played.

Gyan, who is the country's all-time leading goalscorer beleives the FA Cup holders will bounce back stronger next season.

"You watch Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak and you feel they should be up there," he told Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com.

"With Hearts of Oak, I believe they will bounce back," he added.

Hearts of Oak will wrap up their season with an away game against Berekum Chelsea in the matchday 34 games on Sunday at the Golden City Park.
