Hearts of Oak's Kwadwo Obeng Jnr set to sign improved contract

Winger Kwadwo Obeng Jnr is close to signing a new contract extension at Hearts of Oak that will see him earning more in wages next season.

The Ghana Premier League giants signed the highly-rated attacker in 2018 on a 3-year contract after ending his stay with Latvian top-flight side Spartaks Jurmala.

With 2 years into his contract, Kwadwo Obeng Jnr is into his final year at the club where he has established himself as one of the most exciting attackers.

In a bid to keep the forward at the club, officials of Hearts of Oak are in talks with the player's representatives to have him sign a 1-year contract extension.

Once the deal is finalized and Kwadwo Obeng Jnr inks the new 1-year contract, the 21-year will see a rise in his monthly wages.

In the canceled 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League seasons, the attacker made just 3 appearances for the Phobians. He missed most of the games as a result of several injury setbacks.
