Hearts of Oak's poor performance is surprising - Emmanuel Nettey

Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Nettey expressed his profound surprise at the woeful performance of the Accra-based club in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

As the team struggles to find its footing, Nettey, once a key player for Hearts of Oak, voiced his astonishment over their underwhelming displays, raising questions about the factors behind their unexpectedly poor form.

"When I came I have been able to watch some of their matches it is not really encouraging I don't know the reason this is going on. In football it is times and seasons probably they are going to have a good day one day," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"I have a perception that this is just one of those bad days with one match to go they should just put this behind them and win for the supporters. There is a saying that everyone has their one opinion but the opinion doesn't make it a fact,"

"If the supporters are saying that the players have sold a match and me as a player I know that it is not so I just have to be mentally strong and not take it to heart. Put it somewhere and work to change the results so that the supporters will know that it was just one of those nad days at the office,"
