Hearts striker Kwame Kizito earns Black Stars B call up

Inform Accra Hearts of Oak striker Kwame Kizito has been handed a call up into the Black Stars team B ahead of the West Africa Football Union Championship to be hosted in Ghana next month.

The striker has been in ferocious form in the second round of the Ghana Premier League, having scored seven times already.

Kizito’s late goal earned the phobians a point against title contenders Aduana Stars in the mouthwatering Premier League played on Wednesday.

Ahead of the WAFU tournament, the player has been named in the provisional squad for the tournament having missed out in the qualification series for the CHAN tournament, where Ghana crushed out after a disappointing defeat in Kumasi to Burkina Faso.

The forward will join Accra Hearts of oak teammates Winful Cobinna, Patrick Razak and Thomas Abbey to form a quartet of Phobians in Camp.

Meanwhile, Kotoko duo of Saddick Adams and Awal Mohammed, have been dropped from the squad.

The Black Stars B will begin camping on Thursday ahead of the tournament that begins on 9th September and ends on the 24th of the same month.
