The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be in the VVIP section of the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday when Hearts of Oak takes on Asante Kotoko.
The two most glamourous clubs in the country will lock horns this weekend in a Week 20 game of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
Prior to the game, the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has decided that it will also serve as this year’s President Cup played every year before the Independence Day celebration.
Ahead of the game this weekend GHALCA has announced that H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be present at the Stadium to watch the Super Clash live.
In addition, GHALCA has confirmed that the H.E Umaro Mokhtar Sissoco Embalo, President of Guinea Bissau and Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government will watch the match as Special Guest of Honour.
This weekend’s Super Clash will kick off at 15:00gmt at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
