Ajax goalkeeper is confident Kudus Mohammed will return even stronger from his latest set-back.
The 19-year-old suffered a knee injury in their opening UEFA Champions League fixture against Liverpool FC and is expected to be sideline for several months due to the meniscus injury.
But Onana remain confident he will return stronger.
"I expect him to come back stronger. He's a tough guy. I spoke to him and explained that unfortunately injuries are also part of football. He was very positive and promised to do everything he could to make a great return." He said.
Kudus Mohammed will miss Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Sudan next month.
