Tottenham Hotspur winger Heung-Min Son has been targeted by Ligue 1 Champions Paris St Germain as they look to strengthen their options out wide in the January transfer window.

As reported in theEvening Standard, the French side is long-term admirers of the South Korean and are looking to put in a bid for the 24-year-old to bring him to France as he is not one of Tottenham managerMauricio Pochettino'skey players.

Although the winger has scored six times and assisted in three assists in all competitions for Spurs, he has struggled to be a constant in Pochettino's starting eleven.

Heung-Min who joined the North London club in the summer of 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen for£22m, looked likely to return to the Bundesliga in the summer. However, Mauricio Pochettino decided to keep the South Korean at White Hart Lane.

While he may not be in Tottenham's starting eleven at the minute, it is expected that Spurs would not allow him to exit in January, considering their lack of goals when compared to the top four.

If PSG were to land their target, it could spell the end for their current wingers Angel Di Maria and Jese, whose positions would be jeopardised.

As well, as a move for Heung-Min, PSG are also reportedly looking to acquire wantaway German winger Julian Draxler who has demanded that Wolfsburg let him leave in January after a falling out with the manager.
