Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has reiterated his delight in having Thomas Partey back in the team.

The Black Stars midfielder just like past seasons has missed so many games for the Gunners this season as a result of injury.

After coming back from his last injury layoff this month, Thomas Partey has worked his way back into the starting eleven.

He was unstoppable in midfield over the weekend and helped Arsenal to beat Tottenham 3-2 in the English Premier League.

Speaking in a post-match interview after the game, Mikel Arteta said Arsenal missed Thomas Partey’s quality, physicality, and experience during his absence.

"He’s a really important player and we have missed him for many months. He looks in great shape.

"It’s his presence, his quality, his physicality and his experience,” Mikel Arteta said.

Partey is expected to be key for Arsenal in the remaining matches of the English Premier League as the Gunners aim to lift the title.
