The Yellow and Mauve delivered an outstanding performance to dispatch struggling Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.

Two second-half goals from defender Kobina Amoah and midfielder Godfred Abban killed the resilience of the Phobians at the Akoon Community Park.

The Phobians, who had a flying start to the second half of the season under coach Aboubakar Ouattara has now suffered three consecutive defeats in the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking after the game, coach Bashiru questioned why the bankroller of Medeama, Moses Armah Parker entered the dressing room of the match officials during recess.

To him, the referee changed completely in the second half of the game.

“Honestly, something strange happened which the Ghana FA must take a critical look. How can a bankroller of a club go into referees’ dressing room? He quizzed. You could see the referee changed completely in the second half.”

“We will go back and do a lot of correction and ensure we don’t lose any game again. This is time we have to stand firm and work”

Hearts of Oak have now dropped to the eleventh position on the Ghana Premier League table after 25 matches, accumulating 32 points.
