Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has warned the club fans not to expect a lot of signings in the summer.

Howe says that he will refrain from making too many changes to his squad in the summer.

"The difficulty for us is when we bring new players in, for the new players to understand our philosophy and to quickly adapt to how we play," he said.

"There is a period where players need to adjust and understand that process so too many changes to the squad I don't think is good for our dynamics, so we will see."

The Cherries, who are likely to finish in the top-half this season, have been heavily linked with the likes of Chelsea veteran John Terry and Sunderland striker Jermaine Defoe in the recent months.
