Huddersfield penalty hero Schindler reveals how David Wagner motivated the Terriers to the Premier League

Christian Schindler has revealed a motivational bracelet helped inspire Huddersfield to victory in the Championship play-offs.

Managed David Wagner handed every Terriers player a wristband before the play-off semi final against Sheffield Wednesday, which read: 'no limits'.

Speaking after scoring the winning spot kick that sent the Yorkshire club into the Premier League, Schindler spoke affectionately of the effect the wristband had on the Huddersfield players.

"The boss and his coaching team have done a brilliant job. From the start he told us there are no limits," said Schindler.

"He had these wristbands made for us. Every single player has one to remind them. It was his idea, and when a coach comes up with something like that, it makes you believe in him.

"He presented us with them before the semi-final against Sheffield Wednesday and I've been wearing this for two weeks now.

"It shows you don't have to spend a lot of money to make a big impact on the team, especially if you have good characters."
