Humiliating Stat Reveals Just How Bad Claudio Bravo Is at Keeping Clean Sheets for Man City

Claudio Bravo. Everytime the Manchester City goalkeeper is named in the starting lineup, opposition teams must be rubbing their hands with glee.

Why? Well, the prospect of knowing that the ex-Barcelona shot stopper will concede a goal at some point in the game is a surefire way to boost confidence for opposing clubs ahead of matches.

And with good season. A truly embarrassing stat, where Bravo is concerned at least, emerged in the aftermath of City's 5-1 FA Cup fifth round thrashing of Huddersfield Town on Wednesday, and revealed just how easy it was to notch a goal against the Chile international:

Your eyes aren't deceiving you. Bravo has conceded a goal from the first shot on target, he has faced in 25 league games, on 13 occasions. That works out at Bravo failing to save the first shot he's faced 52% of the time!

It's no wonder that the 33-year-old got dropped for City's Willy Caballero at the turn of the year. Or that manager Pep Guardiola is planning to buy a new first choice keeper for the second season in row, regardless of his public defence of the hapless Bravo.

It might be time to call it a day, Claudio...
