Former Asante Kotoko playmaker, Fabio Dos Santos Gama has opened up on his time at Asante Kotoko.

The Brazilian midfielder signed for the Porcupine Warriors club before the start of the 2020/21 football season.

In his debut season, the Reds missed out on cup success and lost both the Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup titles to rivals Hearts of Oak.

However, the following season, Fabio Gama helped Asante Kotoko to win the Ghana Premier League title.

Opening up on his time in Kumasi, the midfielder says he is happy he managed to achieve his goal of winning the league with the team.

“We failed during my first season because we were not able to win the trophy and finished second on the league table. But we were the champions in the second season, so for me, I achieved my goal at Kotoko,” Fabio Gama said.

Since leaving Ghana, the Brazilian is now in Bahrain where he is continuing his career.

He first signed for Al-Muharraq but is now on the books of Busaiteen.
