“I agree with Ignatius Fosu that my performance dropped since I joined Hearts - Salifu Ibrahim

Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim claims he agrees with his former coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu that his performance dropped after joining the Phobians.

Ibrahim completed a switch to Hearts in the second transfer window from Techiman Eleven Wonders.

The 20-year-old played a key role in helping the Accra-based side secure a domestic double by winning the Premier League and the MTN FA Cup.

Despite his impressive performances for Hearts, the newly-appointed Medeama SC coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu said the midfielder was not playing to the best of his abilities.

Responding to the comments, Ibrahim told Wontumi TV, “I agree with him (Ignatius Fosu) that my performance has dropped since I joined Hearts."

"In Eleven Wonders we didn’t keep much time in our half with the ball before we move to the opposition box, we used a lot of long balls.

"But at Hearts my role is different, we use a lot of short passes," he added.

Ibrahim has been named in Hearts of Oak squad for the CAF Champions League next season.
