Ghana international, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has disclosed that although he never visited the country when he was growing up, he was always following football in the country.
According to him, he had an attachment to the country and even did a presentation on Ghana when he was in 10th grade.
“I followed football there and gave a presentation about the country in 10th grade,” Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer disclosed in an interview as reported by Bild.
Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer added, “But - whenever my father flew there, I couldn't. My father usually travels in autumn. Once a year for six weeks. I never had time because I had school or training.
The forward in the last few weeks has displayed fine form in the German Bundesliga 2 where he plays for Hamburg SV.
He is now focused on staying fit and in form to merit a place in the Ghana squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
