I am focused on winning title with Asante Kotoko and not contract talks - Fabio Gama

Brazilian midfielder, Fabio Gama has said he is not interested in discussing contract talks with the club.

The 28-year-old who joined the Reds prior to the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League has been impressive for the club.

Gama has scored twice, assisting four times in 14 appearances for the club.

According to him, he is eager to win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League and discuss his contract later.

“I am focused on the league now. We want to win the league and that’s where my attention is,” Gama told Pure FM.

“You never know what will happen in the next months so let’s focus on the football. I want to only discuss contract talks when it’s getting close.”

The attacker's contract with the Porcupine Warriors will end in October 2022.

Asante Kotoko’s recent games has seen the Brazilian flourishing in attacking midfield.

The Porcupines’ next league fixture is against Medeama in Obuasi where Gama is expected to return to the starting line up after missing the Great Olympics game through suspensionn.
