Bilbao striker Inaki Williams certainly can't wait to play his first game for Ghana. The 28-year-old switched nationalities this summer after months of speculation.

Inaki dropped the announcement video on his social media platforms and it immediately went viral. Football-loving Ghanaians welcomed the Basque-born striker.

The Ghana Football Association also responded by posting a welcome picture on social media.

Speaking to the Spanish press about his nationality switch the striker said he was going to repay Ghana for giving him the opportunity.

"I'm going to enjoy the moment, enjoy my roots and give back to Ghana for the opportunity it has given me,"

Inaki and his brother Nico brother traveled to Ghana during the off-season for vacation. The brothers met their extended family and also spoke to some influential people in Ghana.
