Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan has stated that he is happy with his overall performance against Frosinone.

According to him, he would have preferred a victory instead of a draw.

The Ghana international spoke to the club's website after the game against Frosinone Calcio.

"I'm pleased to have played well because I'm working in the right way. But in the end, if you don't win games, personal statistics count for little," he said.

"I would have preferred a victory rather than an assist. If we had won today we would have gone third. Today we leave with a point, we hold on to it and look forward," he added.

Alfred Duncan was in action for Fiorentina on Thursday when the team locked horns with Frosinone in the Italian Serie A.

The two clubs faced off in a Round 6 encounter of the ongoing 2023/24 league season.

In a game played at Stadio Benito Stirpe, Alfred Duncan started in the heart of midfield for Fiorentina.

He did not disappoint and dropped another impressive performance for his team away from home.

In the 19th minute of the first half, Alfred Duncan displayed his creativity and set up Nicolas Gonzalez to score.

While that goal would put Fiorentina in front, the visitors could not hold on to take all three points.

A strike from Matias Soule in the second half forced the match to end in a 1-1 draw.

Alfred Duncan now has one goal and three assists after making 5 appearances in the Italian Serie A.
