Legon Cities manager, Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has praised his players after holding Hearts of Oak to a goalless game on Sunday.

The Royals were hosted by the Phobians in the matchday 10 games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

However, the game ended goalless after 90 minutes of football.

Speaking after the game, Fabin praised his players for the hard-fought point against Martin Koopman’s side.

“Our planned work. We wanted to win but that happened today. That was a timely clearance from Ampadu,” the veteran Ghanaian coach said after the game.

"A point here is ok for us. Now, we have to turn our attention to the game against Chelsea in Berekum.

"Credit to my boys. I am proud of them,” he added.

The draw leave Legon Cities at the 12th on the league with 12 points. Hearts of Oak meanwhile sit 11th on the summit with 12 points.

Legon Cities will be hosted by Berekum Chelsea while Hearts of Oak face Accra Lions all in the matchday 11 games.
