Bismark Kobi-Mensah says he is still in charge of Bechem United as the head coach of the club.

On Tuesday, reports emerged that the former Karela United and Great Olympics gaffer has been sacked after four games into the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

Bechem United currently sit bottom of the Premier League log with three points.

However, speaking in an interview, the former Black Galaxies assistant coach says he is still in charge of the club.

According to him, there were agitations after their defeat against Medeama SC over the weekend but he has been resolved.

"Am still the head coach for Bechem United," he told Takoradi-based WestGold FM.

"We have had a bad season having played 4 matches so far won 1 lost 3.

"Though there were agitations after the 1-2 loss to Medeama from our supporters but the problems have been resolved," he added.

Bechem United will hope to return to winning ways when they travel to play Legon Cities in the matchday five games at the El-Wak Stadium this weekend.
