Annor Walker, head coach of Accra Great Olympics has said he is yet to settle on a new assistant coach.

Ibrahim Otoo who was deputizing Walker has left the club due to illness.

Yaw Preko who was appointed as the stop gab coach by the club after Annor Walker took a sick opted to work with Godwin Attram as his assistant.

However, Annor Walker who has now resumed his duties as the head coach of the club has reiterated that he would prefer working with both Preko and Attram but the final decision is yet to be made by the board of the club.

“I was not able to watch all the matches Yaw Preko and Godwin Attram played in my absence,” he told Asempa FM.

“I was able to watch when the team played Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak and nothing has not changed about the team. The same pattern of play but does not mean Preko and Attram have not contributed to the development of the team.

I spoke to them after the defeat against Bechem United and I would love to work both of them as my assistant but the decision is yet to be made by the board,” he said.

The former Nania FC gaffer also stressed that he is yet to make the decision should the board ask him to settle on one person as his assistant.

“I am yet to settle on any of them as my assistant should the board ask me to do so. I will also consult my Godfather on what to do as well before I finally settle on my assistant coach,” he said.

Annor Walker was named as the head coach of the club on February 2020.
