Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Slavko Matic has stated that despite his attempt to change tactics against Great Olympics by bringing on a striker his side still couldn't find the back of the net.
The Phobians were beaten 1-0 in the Accra derby played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Samuel Abbey Quaye scored the only goal in the encounter from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute.
"If I start to talk about referees it’s not good, more than 24 fouls in the first half as if we are playing basketball today we cannot play," Matic said after the game.
"Especially first half we cannot do everything we had one chance. New striker we bring in to score goals but we didn't score we lose for nothing as you see,"
Accra Hearts of Oak is sixth on the Ghana Premier League table with 28 points after 19 games. The Phobians will clash with bitter rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
