I can't tell if Prosper Narteh Ogum will lead Asante Kotoko to Africa - Club board member

Asante Kotoko Board Member, Alhaji Abu Lamini has refused to answer if Prosper Narteh Ogum will lead the club in their Africa campaign next year.

The former WAFA gaffer who signed a two-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors before the start of the season has led the club to win the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

The Reds won the title following their 1-1 draw with AshantiGold SC in an outstanding at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors clinched the title with three matches left to play as they sit at the summit of the log with 60 points.

Speaking in an interview, Alhaji Abu Lamini, while answering a question in line with whether the management of the team would maintain Prosper Narteh Ogum for their Africa campaign, Lamini insisted he does not know.

“I can’t really tell for now," he told Accra-based Hot FM.

"The decision to retain coach Prosper Narteh as head coach going to Africa will depend on the board," he added.

Asante Kotoko will represent the country in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.

Meanwhile, Prosper Narteh Ogum and his charges will be hosted by Accra Great Olympics in the matchday 32 games at the Accra Sports Stadium.
