German-born Ghanaian Ragnar Ache says he cannot wait to play his first game for FC Kaiserslautern following his switch in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old former Germany youth international joined the German Bundesliga 2 side from Eintracht Frankfurt, with details of his contract undisclosed.

FC Kaiserslautern faced tough competition from several clubs, including Fortuna Düsseldorf, Hannover 96, and Furth, to secure the signing of Ragnar Ache.

Speaking about joining FC Kaiserslautern Ragnar Ache revealed that the fans were instrumental in his decision to join the club.

“In the end, the fans were also decisive for my move. The atmosphere and impact that I experienced here last season was unbelievable.

“I’m happy to play for this traditional club and I’m looking forward to the first game with the team.”

Ragnar Ache played for Kaiserslautern on loan last season from Frankfurt.

In 32 games in the German second tier, he scored 7 goals and provided three assists.
