I could have scored more - Thomas Partey after steering Arsenal to a win against Leicester City

Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey has said he could have scored more goals against Leicester City on Sunday.

The Ghana international scored the first goal as the Gunners cruise over the Foxes with a 2-1 win.

The 27 year old also struck the post before Alexandre Lacazette scored a penalty to wrap up the win at the Emirates Stadium.

Partey, who was on top of his game against Brendan Rodgers' side speaking after the game lauded his teammates for the hard-fought win.

According to him, the aim is keep winning and reiterated that he could have scored more goal.

"I am happy with the win and I could have scored more," he said after the game.

"Our aim is to keep winning and we fought for it today against Leicester City.

"The ambition is to keep winning and improve and the players again demonstrated that we are improving," he added.

The win means Arsenal have moved to the top four with 51 points with two games at hand.

The Gunners will host Liverpool at the Emirates on Wednesday.
