I did not order the arrest of Hearts of Oak NCC chairman Elvis Herman Hesse - Vincent Odotei

Board member of Hearts of Oak Vincent Sowah Odotei has revealed that he is not behind the arrest of the National Chapters Committee (NCC) chairman for the club Elvis Herman Hesse.

Hesses was arrested by the Ministry Police Station to answer questions on a report filed against him on Monday.

The duo was seen in a video that sent viral arguing with each other at the VVIP area following the club's elimination from the CAF Confederations Cup on Sunday.

Hearts needed to overturn a three goal deficit from the first leg in Mali but struggled to find the back of the net, until the 89th when Caleb Amankwah scored the game’s only goal.

"I didn't report the case to the police."

"The police who were on duty at the Accra Sports Stadium on the match day rather logged in the report at the ministries police station and subsequently invited me to hear my side of the story," Sowah Odotei told Hot FM
