Former Black Stars striker, Emmanuel Clottey says he does not believe the passing away of Christian Atsu until he sees the body.

Atsu passed away on Saturday, February 18 after he was trapped in an earthquake that struck Turkey that has claimed over 46,000 lives.

“I still won’t believe unless it (his body)…I don’t know what to say for now unless I see the body (of Atsu) because, since day one, I don’t want to believe it till now,” Clottey told Citi Sports.

Clottey played with Atsu at the 2013 AFCON held in South Africa and had Atsu scored in a 3-0 win over Niger to qualify Ghana for the quarterfinals.
