I don’t know all the players that have been put on transfer - Ashgold Assistant Coach

Ashgold Assistant Coach Thomas Duah reacted to various issues of the club in an interview.

The club recently renewed and terminated contracts of most of the players in the club.

Speaking on local radio station Ashh FM he said

“The club still had contracts with most of the players even though we wanted to take them out on loan to other clubs which most of the players disagreed,” he said.

“The Head Coach knows the players he actually want to work with. Being an assistant manager I don’t know all the players that have been put on transfer,”

“I have no say in the type of players the coach prefers. The club offered James Akaminko a contract proposal which we had no reply from him. James Akaminko’s absence will have no effect on Ashgold,” he added.

“If we are letting Akaminko, Akwasi Nti, Osei Baffour, Stephen Owusu Banahen, and other players leave the club, these should tell you the quality players our supporters should expect” he concluded.
