Ghanaian International and Red Star Belgrade striker, Richard Boakye-Yiadom has revealed that his recent goal scoring form is due to the fact that he been blessed with the gift of finding the back of the net.
The highly rates striker has been in devastating form in the ongoing 2019-20 season and continues to bang in the goals week in and week out.
In the ongoing Champions League play-offs, Boakye-Yiadom has scored two goals in two matches for Red Star Belgrade.
Speaking in an interview after finding the back of the net in his side’s win over HJK Helsinki on Wednesday night, the 26-year-old revealed that he has the gift for scoring goals and that has been his secret throughout his career.
“I am always ready because the gift of scoring is upon my life so to maintain this level needs discipline, dedication and intensive training to continue”, the striker said in an interview with Ghanasoccernet.com.
Richard Boakye Yiadom bagged 13 goals in 15 matches in the 2018/19 season for Red Star Belgrade to help them lift the Serbian league title.
Red Star Belgrade will play HJK next Tuesday in the second leg of the Champions League play-offs and their marksman will be hoping to get on the score sheet to help them secure qualification.
